How to get garlic/onion odors out of my wooden cutting board!

Alas, today we chopped up fruit for our Friday night small group, and our apples, peaches from Chile (not in season, shouldn’t have bought), and pineapple now have a subtle (or not so subtle) garlic flavor.

Apparently, the recommendation is baking soda!  Of course.  Seems like baking soda and white vinegar is good for a lot of cleaning.  Now you know.
